About
Betsy Piland is a Chicago-born, Colorado-based content marketing and communications leader with 15+ years of experience growing brand visibility, trust, and lead generation—primarily through compelling storytelling.
She has led content and communications strategy, overhauled brand messaging, scaled organic traffic, and built lead-generation pipelines that consistently outperform benchmarks.
Along the way, she’s grown clients’ social media audiences by +200%, ghostwritten keynote addresses, built brand toolkits for global consulting firms, and produced a 600-page medical conference program—proof she’s just as comfortable in the weeds as she is shaping organizational strategy.
Betsy has spent the bulk of her career in healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit spaces, always looking for a story that will inspire an audience to act. She holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership & Change Management from Colorado State University Global and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Northern Illinois University.
One of her proudest moments? When her sixth-grade teacher accused her mother of writing her book reports. She probably should've known then where her career path would lead.
